Quilter + Natural Dyer + Textile Artist + Flowerist and Urban Farmer.

It all started with yarn, knitting needles and Thursday nights spent crafting with a friend. At the time, I had no idea it was the beginning of something much larger.

Flowercraft is the assembly of the messy, exquisite moments of my life — everything I love, everything I hold dear — and a desire to cultivate community through flowers, craft and shared experiences from my home, in Maple Ridge, BC.

From quilts to flowers, colour and pattern have always captivated my attention; yet, it is the process of making that reveals the deeper meaning of my work. Through working with my hands, I practice finding beauty in the evanescent, learning presence, embracing impermanence, and seeing the quiet evidence that I have contributed to something larger than myself.
